The World Bank Group (WBG) is developing a new Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for Indonesia that will indicate the main directions of the partnership for the next five years.
The new CPF aligns the WBG support with the country's development priorities and goals, reflecting the WBG’s new country engagement approach. Its key elements include country diagnostics, outcomes, results framework, partnerships and coordination, focusing on public and private solutions to development challenges. The CPF is designed to be flexible and adaptive to a changing environment.
To guide the CPF, the WBG is holding a series of consultations with a broad range of stakeholders, including government agencies, civil society organizations, academia, think tanks, development partners, and the private sector. The objective of these consultations is to seek views on the key development challenges facing Indonesia and the areas where the World Bank Group should concentrate its financial and knowledge support — so that this support has the greatest possible impact in achieving lasting development outcomes, reducing poverty, and creating more and better jobs in line with Indonesia's aspiration to become a high-income country by 2045.
