Cameroon Systematic Country Diagnostic Consultations
The World Bank Group is preparing a Country Partnership Strategy to guide its support to Cameroon's development. We would like to hear your views on Cameroon's future and the role the World Bank Group can play in helping the country achieve its economic goals.
Overview
The first phase of stakeholder consultations consists of the Systematic Country Diagnostic (SCD), which is expected to stimulate an open and forward-looking dialogue between the World Bank Group and the country.
To inform the strategy, the World Bank is consulting with stakeholders seeking views on how best the Bank can help Cameroon meet its development challenges. Through in-person discussions and online input, we are welcoming views of Cameroon's stakeholders as well as diaspora on the country's development agenda as well as recommendations on new opportunities and challenges.

The online consultation period is open from Monday November 16, 2015, to Wednesday December 30, 2015.
Here are some ideas you could think about:
* The World Bank Group's goals are to end extreme poverty and promote shared prosperity. To contribute to these goals in Cameroon, in which three priority areas should the Bank focus its attention and resources in the next five years?
* With which of the following groups should the World Bank Group work more closely in order to improve development results in Cameroon?
* Which policies or investments would help the country to better achieve the highest return in terms of Employment creation and productivity growth, Opportunities for those at the bottom of the income distribution economic or Social and environmental sustainability?

Phase 1
The Systematic Country Diagnostic (SCD) is a key reference point on priorities for WBG engagement in Cameroon. It will identify key challenges and opportunities for ending extreme poverty and boosting shared prosperity. The SCD for Cameroon is expected to be ready by the end of December 2015.

Phase 2
The Country Partnership Framework (CPF) is a partnership plan and the main tool guiding the WBG's support for Cameroon's development program. It starts from the country's own development goals, and it is built around widespread consultations and engagement with all stakeholders.
