Consultations in Cambodia
From June 29 through July 13, 2015, the World Bank Group (WBG) carried out consultations with a wide range of stakeholders to exchange views and perceptions on Cambodia’s development opportunities and pressing challenges, and ways to address them in the next two to three years, to help implement government development strategy. We expect these consultations will lay a strong basis for our future engagement in Cambodia. Consultation summaries are now available below.
Phase 1
The consultation process includes both face-to-face consultation meetings and an online/web-based platform (available in Khmer and English) to enable participation by a wide range of stakeholders including government officials, parliamentarians, private sector and civil society representatives, and development partners. Face-to-face meetings were scheduled from June 29-July 13, 2015.
The consultation webpage includes background materials and a survey that interested stakeholders can use to provide their input. Stakeholders were able to complete the survey online or by downloading the survey and sending it by fax, post, or e-mail to the World Bank’s office in Phnom Penh by July 13.
