Consultations for the Ghana Country Partnership Framework 2020-2026

The World Bank Group (WBG) is preparing the 2020-2026 Country Partnership Framework (CPF) to guide its support to Ghana's development efforts. We are in the process of hearing your views regarding Ghana's priorities and the role the World Bank Group (WBG) can play in helping the country achieve its development goals. To ensure the Ghana CPF benefits from a range of viewpoints, we are asking you to weigh in on the WBG’s proposed approach.

From March 12 to April 10, 2020, we are inviting stakeholders to provide feedback online on how the World Bank Group can best support Ghana to address its development challenges.

Here are some questions to consider in your feedback:

  • What do you think are the most important development priorities for Ghana?
  • How should the WBG support Ghana’s Growth and Development Agenda?
  • In your opinion, what are the most important reforms that the Government of Ghana should put in place?
  • What should the World Bank change to improve the effectiveness of its programs?

The first step was the preparation of the Systematic Country Diagnostic (SCD) in March 2018. This forward-looking exercise aimed to identify constraints that keep the country from reaching its full potential. The SCD includes inputs from a wide range of stakeholders, including members of civil society. The Ghana Private Sector Country Diagnostic provides complementary analysis to the CPF.
