Working Towards a New World Bank Group Strategy

The World Bank Group has launched the preparation process for its new partnership strategy with Peru. The process will involve consultations with the civil society, private sector, public sector and development partners to exchange views on the country's development opportunities and ways to address them through the partnership framework.

The World Bank Group has launched the preparation process for its new partnership strategy with Peru. The process will involve consultations with the civil society, private sector, public sector and development partners to exchange views on the country's development opportunities and ways to address them through the partnership framework.

The Consultation Process

The consultation process includes both face-to-face consultation meetings and an online/web-based platform. A series of consultations with civil society organizations, private sector and the government have been planned at the following locations:

  • Iquitos, September 23, 2016
  • Trujillo, October 20-21, 2016
  • Lima, October 27, 2016
  • Cusco, December 12-13, 2016

The World Bank webpage includes background materials that interested stakeholders can use to provide their input. Stakeholders can send their feedback and input for the draft CPF by e-mail to the World Bank’s office in Lima, bmconsulta@worldbank.org, by February 28, 2017.
