Ongoing dialogue between the World Bank Group and stakeholders—government, civil society, media, academia, the private sector and others—is a critical aspect of our work. Tapping into a broad range of perspectives strengthens the outcomes and accountability of our engagement and helps build enduring partnerships. It is through this dialogue that we can help implement more effective solutions to local, regional and global development challenges. This website is a platform to inform and consult with interested and affected parties on select areas of our work, such as new policies or changes to regulations, Country Partnership Strategies, and global thematic studies and programs. Below is a list of consultations currently being held in various countries on different topics. Additional consultations may take place through face-to-face engagements and other digital channels.

The World Bank Group is developing its first formal strategy for Fragility, Conflict and Violence (FCV). The objective of the strategy is to address the drivers of FCV in affected countries and their impact on vulnerable populations, with the ultimate goal of contributing to peace and prosperity. To ensure the strategy benefits from a wide range of inputs, we ask that you share your views on the WBG’s proposed approach. | Press Release

The World Bank Group Strategy for Fragility, Conflict and Violence (FCV) will be the product of global consultations to be held between April and September 2019. Consultations will seek to integrate stakeholders’ inputs, adopt lessons learned, and reflect best practices so as to inform the strategy and ensure a broad and fully inclusive process. Consultations will be held with a range of relevant stakeholders in two phases (in-person and online).

  • Phase 1 (April–June 2019): In-person and online consultation on the FCV strategy concept
  • Phase 2 (August-September 2019): Online consultation on the draft FCV strategy document
